The firm builds service-oriented relationships with its clients and is dedicated to understanding its clients’ businesses, the industries in which they operate, and the myriad legal challenges they face.
The more than 50 attorneys in our Baton Rouge office have become a leading presence in the state’s capital and are well-known for their government relations, intellectual property, real estate, tax and estates, business litigation, banking, finance, and corporate and securities practice.
What are some advantages of being located/doing business in the Capital Region?
The Capital Region is growing and it’s a great time to be doing business here. The expanding entrepreneurial footprint and thriving industries are making Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas an attractive place to work. This mixed with our culture has transformed the Capital Region into a place where people want to live and do business.
Why did you decide to invest in BRAC?
It is important to Jones Walker to be an engaged community partner and to act as a facilitator for businesses and companies to expand in Baton Rouge. Our investment in BRAC allows us to be connected with the region and remain at the forefront of business development to ensure a rewarding future for our families.
What would you say to companies contemplating joining BRAC?
You’re only as good as the team with which you surround yourself. As a member of BRAC you are helping businesses in the Capital Region, being a part of impactful initiatives, mentoring programs and training, and promoting diversity.
What do you anticipate for your company in the next five years? For the Capital Region?
In the Fall of 2019, the firm will move its office to downtown Baton Rouge where we are looking forward to fostering our connections. Our presence downtown not only connects us to our clients and businesses, but also furthers our community impact and presence for years to come.
