BRAC 2018 InternBR Cohort concludes with 24 graduates

BATON ROUGE, La. (LOCAL 33) (FOX 44) – BRAC’s InternBR program is now finished and 24 individuals graduated on Friday, July 27.

The Baton Rouge Area Chamber said “the program provides post high school-age students with professional development training focused on soft skills.”

The intent of the InternBR program is to help area employers attract and keep young skilled talent.

The 24 students who participated in the program were involved in six weekly sessions that focused on professional development.

BRAC said, “the program began with an opening retreat focused on the qualities of effective leadership and communication and culminated with participants using their newly-learned skills during a networking session where they met with area young professionals.”
