Baton Rouge, La. (January 17, 2024) – The Baton Rouge Area Chamber (BRAC) today announced its 2024 Board of Directors Officers, and that David Mullens will continue to serve as chair of the board for the organization in 2024. Mullens is the Louisiana Market President for Capital One Bank.
“We are thrilled to announce the return of David Mullens as our 2024 Board Chair. His unwavering commitment to our mission and his exceptional leadership make him the perfect steward for our organization,” said Ann Trappey, interim president and CEO of BRAC. “His dedication has been crucial through this last year as we have built on the successes of the BRING IT! strategic plan and began the search for a permanent CEO. His continued guidance will undoubtedly benefit our team as we prepare for significant announcements in the coming year.”
Mullens returns as board chair to provide consistent oversight during the current President & CEO search and transition. He has served the Baton Rouge community in various roles on boards and committees, including Rotary, Boys & Girls Club of Metro Louisiana, Mid City Redevelopment Alliance, and more.
