BATON ROUGE, La. (October 9, 2019) — The Baton Rouge Area Chamber (BRAC) today announced the agenda for the upcoming Statewide Economic Development Summit presented by Entergy, to be held on October 22-23, at L’Auberge Casino Hotel in Baton Rouge. The full agenda is available at brac.org/edsummit.
Presentations from national and local speakers will spotlight best practices and big ideas for the future of economic development, with keynote presentations including “Economic Development in the Age of the New Localism”; “Accelerating Inclusive Entrepreneurship: The Opportunity and Challenge”; and “Federal Trade Myths and their Impact on Louisiana’s Economy.” The Summit will also feature a Gubernatorial Candidate Forum presented by Cornerstone Government Affairs, a business panel of athletes turned entrepreneurs, a networking reception, and more.
