The BRAC Statewide Economic Development Summit will be held on Tuesday, February 27, at L’Auberge Casino Hotel in Baton Rouge.
According to Kelly Bienn of BRAC, the Summit will also feature a business panel led by LED Secretary Don Pierson, a mayoral panel, and more.
The BRAC Summit will include presentations from national and local speakers on the subject of best practices and big ideas for the future of economic development.
Bienn said keynote presentations will include “Leadership to Reinvent Transportation and Infrastructure”; “Pursuing Inclusive Growth in an Age of Disruption”; and “Incentives, Trends and Realities in a New Political World.”
“As the importance of economic development continues to drive local, state and national conversations, we look forward to coming together as a professional community to learn best practices, network and build a common agenda for moving the state forward,” said Adam Knapp, president and CEO of BRAC. “This is the best lineup of national and local speakers for a summit that we’ve ever had; the quality of the event and the statewide attendees make it truly unique.”
