BRAC Announces Election Platform for EBR School Board

Regional EDO outlines 10 priorities

Baton Rouge, LA (July 26, 2018) – The Baton Rouge Area Chamber (BRAC) today published its election platform for the East Baton Rouge Parish School Board election. The platform is attached and available online.

“Quality public education is a cornerstone to the future success of any community,” said Adam Knapp, president and CEO of BRAC. “Recognizing the upcoming election as an opportunity to refresh our policy goals as they relate to the school system, our board, staff, and committee volunteers have worked to develop 10 specific priorities. We look forward to engaging with potential school board members on these priorities, which we believe will continue to drive the school system and parish in a positive direction.”

The general election will take place on November 6.
