BRAC is accepting nominations for their annual awards

BATON ROUGE, La. (LOCAL 33) (FOX 44) – The BRAC annual awards will be handed out on March 27 and nominations are being accepted for the Community Champion Award and Business Excellence Award.

BRAC provided the award criteria below:

  • Community Champion Award: BRAC presents a Community Champion Award annually to an individual for outstanding contributions to his or her company and above-and-beyond leadership in the community. Recipients also demonstrate leadership, visionary thinking and extraordinary volunteerism.
  • Business Excellence Award: BRAC presents the Business Excellence Award to a business in the Capital Region that is recognized for its demonstrated excellence in 2018.

“We look forward each year to celebrating the profound impact an engaged business community has on the success of our region,” said Adam Knapp, BRAC president and CEO. “Our Shareholders’ Meeting is an opportunity to pause and reflect on the power of regionalism, and how together, the business community is driving positive change that benefits us all.”

The business community and investors are asked to provide their nominations by February 22 at BRAC awards.

BRAC said, “award winners must be current investors in BRAC.”

The awards will be handed out at the BRAC Shareholders’ Meeting which is taking place at the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport Multiplex.
