BRAC Launches 2024 Economic Outlook Survey

Capital Region business community encouraged to participate

Baton Rouge, La. (October 2, 2023) – The Baton Rouge Area Chamber (BRAC) today opened its 2024 economic outlook survey and invites the Capital Region business community to participate. Responses will be compiled in BRAC’s 2024 Economic Outlook, a decision-making tool for the organization and businesses throughout the nine-parish region. The survey will remain open through Friday, October 13, at brac.org/economicsurvey.

“BRAC’s annual economic forecast is a resource for businesses across the Capital Region as they plan for their year ahead,” said Adam Knapp, BRAC president and CEO. “Widespread participation is critical in creating the report. I encourage all to complete the survey, as the results will help everyone to better plan and prepare.”

The seven-question economic outlook survey covers revenue and employment forecasting, and top obstacles related to business growth.

The 2024 Economic Outlook report will be released December 6. The report will be published online at brac.org/research and will offer insights, analysis, and a forecast of the Capital Region’s economy for the upcoming year.

BRAC began producing the annual Economic Outlook in 2007. Since its inception, the report has become the market standard for annual regional economic data.

Riverbend Research, BRAC’s standalone research consulting firm, provides custom research services on a competitive fee-for-service basis, including labor market research, economic impact modeling, demographic and economic data, and general research and consulting.
