The Baton Rouge Area Chamber on Thursday launched the Baton Rouge Toolkit, a new “place-based” marketing resource for companies in the region.

The toolkit, at brac.org/brtoolkit, includes messages, tips for recruiting candidates and acclimating new hires and an article bank of “positive national press,” BRAC said.

The toolkit is aimed at encouraging local firms to use place-based marketing for recruitment and to bolster the region’s image.

Communities that can articulate their strengths in engaging and consistent ways are more competitive both for economic development projects and for talent,” Adam Knapp, BRAC president and CEO, said in a statement. “We developed this toolkit so that our regional businesses can engage easily and quickly in putting Baton Rouge’s best foot forward.”
