BRAC President to give keynote address at 20th BRCC Commencement

BATON ROUGE, La. (LOCAL 33) (FOX 44) – The Baton Rouge Area Chamber (BRAC) President and CEO is scheduled to speak at Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) on Friday, May 25.

According to the Baton Rouge Community College, President and CEO Adam Knapp “will deliver the keynote address at Baton Rouge Community College’s 20th commencement ceremony.”

The commencement ceremony will start at 10 a.m. and over 500 students will receive degrees.

The ceremony will be held at the Bonne Sante’ Health and Wellness Center on the Mid City Campus located at 201 Community College Drive.

“We are thrilled to have Adam Knapp join us for our spring commencement exercises,” said BRCC Chancellor Dr. Larissa Littleton-Steib. “His experience in local economic growth speaks very closely to the mission of Baton Rouge Community College. Our graduates stand to gain so much from him, particularly in regards to the role that they could play in contributing to Capital Area workforce advancement and business investment.”

BRAC President Knapp is a Lake Charles native who served under Governors Mike Foster and Kathleen Blanco.
