Baton Rouge, La. (February 10, 2021) – The Baton Rouge Area Chamber (BRAC) today announced its 2021 Annual Meeting presented by Humana will take place virtually on Wednesday, March 31 from 8:30 – 9:45 a.m. Registration is available at brac.org/events.
“In 2021, BRAC is focused on building a strong foundation for the Baton Rouge Area’s future, but we know that takes partnerships and collaboration,” said Adam Knapp, president and CEO of BRAC. “We invite business owners, community leaders, young professionals, and elected officials to our Annual Meeting to learn more about what we plan to accomplish and how anyone can work with us to move Baton Rouge forward.”
In addition to sharing the organization’s priorities for the year, BRAC will announce its legislative agenda during the event, a cornerstone of its advocacy on behalf of the region’s businesses. Other highlights of the event agenda include a discussion with elected officials on policies for a stronger tomorrow, a conversation with business leaders on fueling opportunity through diversification, and the bestowing of BRAC’s annual awards.
Applications for two of BRAC’s annual awards, the Business Growth Award and the Corporate Professional Development Award, presented in partnership with Forum 225, are open through February 19 at brac.org/awards.
The event will take place virtually from 8:30 – 9:45 a.m. BRAC investors and non-investors are invited and encouraged to participate. BRAC’s Annual Meeting is presented by Humana.
