Louisiana’s Main Street Recovery Grant Program will begin accepting applications on July 28. Businesses impacted by COVID-19 can apply for grants of up to $15,000 to cover eligible expenses, including costs related to meeting public health requirements and costs created by business interruption. The $300 million fund will be prioritized for businesses that have not accessed other federal aid in the program’s first 21 days, and no less than $40 million of the fund will be designated for access by minority, woman, and veteran owned businesses in its first 60 days. Louisiana Treasurer John Schroder will join BRAC for a free business webinar sponsored by Taylor Porter on Tuesday, July 7 to provide details on the opportunity and answer questions from the business community.
