Applications for the federal Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) must be made by June 30. The Program has been a lifeline to many businesses coping with lost revenue due to COVID-19 and its associated Stay at Home orders, yet application data indicates that not all eligible businesses have taken advantage of the opportunity. In particular, application rates for minority owned businesses are lower than their peers. BRAC is hosting a free business webinar tomorrow to assist local businesses in understanding recent changes to the PPP and to ensure that all are able to take full advantage of its forgiveness terms.
