Governor John Bel Edwards announced today that Louisiana will be moving into Phase 3 beginning tomorrow, March 3, for 28 days. This is the second time the state has moved to Phase 3 during the pandemic. Relevant updates for businesses include:
- 75% occupancy for restaurants and most businesses
- 25% indoor occupancy for bars
- 50% indoor occupancy for bars in parishes with 5% or less positivity
- 50% occupancy, or 250 people, for event centers
- 50% capacity for outdoor event space
- 50% occupancy for gyms
- Live music allowed indoors following rules of the State Fire Marshal
- Mask mandate remains in effect
