2017 Small Town Chefs Awards

For the fourth year, Country Roads magazine joins forces with the Louisiana Culinary Institute to present the Small Town Chefs Awards, honoring the achievements of Louisiana chefs and culinary professionals doing big things in small town settings. This year’s winners—Chef Hardette Harris of Pure Louisiana Soul (Minden), Chef Jeffrey Hansell of OxLot 9 at the Grand Hotel (Covington) and Chef Dustie Latiolais of Cochon Cannery (Breaux Bridge)—will be honored at the 2017 Small Town Chefs Award Dinner, taking place at the Louisiana Culinary Institute.
Come get a taste—minus all the driving! The dinner will include a five-course menu featuring signature dishes by 2017’s award-winning chefs, passed hors d’oeuvres by Louisiana Culinary Institute chefs, cocktail and wine pairings by BRQ Barbecue and Seafood, live music, people’s choice awards and other surprises along the way. 4:30 pm–7:30 pm at 10550 Airline Highway, Baton Rouge. $90 tickets are available now. countryroadsmag.com for details.
