The Way of Water Exhibit- Arts Council of Livingston Parish
August 1, 2018-September 22, 2018
The Arts Council of Livingston Parish invites everyone to visit our gallery in August and September for our exhibit, The Way of Water. This natural resource plays a vital role in our community – bringing both life and sometimes destruction. Our artists will be inspired by, but not limited to, our wetlands, creeks, rivers and lakes. The various mediums of artwork will reflect the relationship of water to our life in Livingston Parish. We are hosting this exhibit as a part of our partnering with the Denham Springs Main Street Association in celebrating The Smithsonian Traveling Exhibit, “Water/Ways”. The Smithsonian Exhibit will be at Historic Old City Hall during August and September. Our exhibit will begin on August 1st and end on September 22nd. An opening reception will take place on Saturday, August 11th from 10 am till 1 pm at the gallery, 133 Hummell St. D.S. Artists will be present and light refreshments will be served.
