FuturePAC Endorses Candidates for Special Elections

Endorsements made for metro council and legislative races

BATON ROUGE, La. (March 13, 2019) – FuturePAC, the political action committee of the Baton Rouge Area Chamber (BRAC), announced today its endorsements of candidates in the upcoming special elections for East Baton Rouge Parish Metropolitan Council District 8, and the legislative elections in House Districts 18 and 62. These elections will take place on Saturday, March 30, 2019, with early voting March 16 to March 23.

“FuturePAC endorses candidates that are dedicated to improving the Capital Region’s economic competitiveness,” said Ric Kearny, FuturePAC’s Chairman of the Board.  “These candidates are willing to stand behind policies that will move the region forward on some of its most significant issues – such as transportation investment, education, and economic development – and commit to working with the business community as we address these challenges together.”

Those candidates receiving FuturePAC’s endorsement are:

Metro Council District 8 – Denise Amoroso

House District 18 – Jeremy LaCombe

House District 62 – Dennis Aucoin
