BATON ROUGE, La. (March 3, 2022) – FuturePAC today announced its endorsements of candidates for the upcoming Municipal Primary Election for East Baton Rouge Parish Metropolitan Council District 5, and the legislative election in House District 101. These candidates have demonstrated through their interviews and questionnaires a willingness to work together and support BRAC’s election platform. “East Baton Rouge is set to replace three outstanding leaders in their roles on the Metro Council, Legislature and the 19th JDC,” said Ralph Bender, FuturePAC’s Chairman of the Board. “We are lucky to have many individuals looking to serve in these roles. FuturePAC is confident that these leaders will work diligently to continue to grow and improve our community.”
Those candidates receiving FuturePAC’s endorsement are:
- Metro Council District 5 – Darryl Hurst and Dadrius Lanus
- House District 101 – Vanessa LaFleur
The FuturePAC Board of Directors chose not to endorse a candidate in the 19th JDC, ES 3, Div. E election. After conducting interviews and reviewing the candidates’ qualifications in the 19th JDC, FuturePAC believes all candidates would be exemplary members of the Judiciary and serve the people with distinction.
