Soulé, a Baton Rouge High School graduate and current ministry director, is active in the Volunteers in Public Schools (ViPS) organization and has been a foster parent.

“It is great to see someone so devoted to elevating the plight of young people leaning into the opportunity to serve. School district oversight is complex and difficult, and we believe Emily will excel in the role,” added Helena Cunningham.
