When and why did you get involved with BRAC?

Several of my co-workers had been members for some time and had shared their experiences with me. From the learning opportunities at the monthly luncheons, to all the great networking events, when the opportunity presented itself for me to become an ambassador, I was eager to join. 

Tell us more about how you are involved in Baton Rouge?

At Local33 & FOX44 we’re all BRProud! We offer our clients multimedia marketing solutions combined with local expertise, which drive results for local businesses as well as national brands that want to connect locally. We also have Nexstar’s Founder’s Day of Caring coming up, where employees at more than 100 Nexstar stations will join together in a day of giving to the communities we serve. 

Why do you stay involved with BRAC?

BRAC does so much to help the Baton Rouge community continue to grow, and I’m glad to be a part of it. While I’m able to serve local businesses as an ambassador, the networking opportunities also help me in my career, so it’s a win-win! 

What would you tell someone considering becoming a BRAC investor?

I would tell them to stop considering and do it! When a business becomes a BRAC investor, they get a lot in return. Events, support, networking, and much more. Becoming an investor opens many doors and creates many opportunities for businesses that they wouldn’t otherwise have. 

What do you see for the future of Baton Rouge? How will we get there?

I see Baton Rouge continuing the exciting pattern of growth we’ve been lucky enough to be a part of. Business/economic growth and the city’s beautification efforts have been very exciting to witness. We will get there by everyone joining in the effort and staying connected through organizations like BRAC. 

What’s one of the most exciting things you see happening in the Baton Rouge Area today?

Downtown development. With all the festivals, concerts, exhibits, shows, and more, there’s always something going on. BRAC’s Ambassador Program is designed to allow company representatives to actively build relationships with BRAC investors and business leaders while serving as advocates of BRAC’s work.
