Meet Rob Wise
Occupation: CEO
Company: ITinspired
Do you work on any BRAC working groups, committees or councils? If so, please elaborate.
I stay up to date with the Quality of Place Committee meetings and Small Business and Entrepreneurship Council. I’ve worked with the Education and Workforce Council in the past, as well. I get updates from all the committees and councils via email so I can stay in the loop. I’m also a proud board member for the BRAC Leadership Baton Rouge Alumni.
What does your company/organization do?
ITinspired is an IT company with a focus on being your technology partner. We provide managed services for businesses and organizations looking for a comprehensive approach towards IT management and customer care.
What are some advantages of being located/doing business in the Capital Region?
I firmly believe that our state, especially the Capital Region, is rich with opportunity and overflowing with culture. I think that’s a calling for entrepreneurs and business leaders to fill a need and do it with some flare and fun. We’re surrounded by some of the most plentiful natural resources and geography in the nation. Our people are resilient, friendly, and we have a lot of untapped potential right here at home. I’d consider all that an advantage any day of the week.
Why did you decide to invest in BRAC?
Our company backs BRAC because of the support system, resources, talent pool, and vision they bring to the leadership and vision of our community. From day one, the BRAC membership has paid for itself and provided valuable services and support for our company to grow and thrive in and around the Capital Region.
What would you say to companies contemplating joining BRAC?
Beyond the actual membership, I’ve met some truly amazing people and have had the chance to network with folks that I normally wouldn’t cross paths with. I’ve made some lasting friendships and experiences through my involvement with BRAC. The programming and people at BRAC have continued to foster excellence in both my personal and professional growth.
What do you anticipate for your company in the next five years? For the Capital Region?
ITinspired will strive to be the company that changes the perception of IT! Our company will recruit and retain top talent, expand our customer base, and continue our community outreach. We look forward to strong leadership and positive changes in store for the Capital Region.
