Every spring, visitors come from all around to attend the Jackson Assembly Antiques and Art Show, the town’s long-standing annual fundraiser for the preservation and updates of Jackson’s historic buildings and structures. The event offers an antique show, a regional artists’ showcase and tours of historic downtown Jackson, as well as local vendor samplings of homemade candy, pralines and cookies.
