Meghan Parrish has been named vice president of marketing and communications by Baton Rouge General Medical Center/General Health System. The new job for the former director of marketing and communications was detailed in the current Moving Up section of Business Report.
Parrish, who led the team that conceptualized the hospital’s “We Get You. Healthier” campaign, is a recent graduate of the Baton Rouge Area Chamber Leadership program and is in the process of achieving her Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. In other capital area employment news, Dean Bartels has been named a commercial and private banking officer and senior vice president at Resource Bank. Bartels joins Resource from Investar Bank, where he served as a commercial real estate banker and private banking relationship manager. He has more than 25 years of service in the financial industry.
