What does your organization do?
Ochsner Health System is Louisiana’s largest non-profit, academic, healthcare system.
Ochsner’s mission is to serve, heal, lead, educate and innovate. Coordinated clinical and hospital patient care is provided across the region by Ochsner’s 40 owned, managed and affiliated hospitals, specialty hospitals, and more than 100 health centers and urgent care centers.
Ochsner is the No. 1 ranked hospital in Louisiana by U.S. News & World Report and is recognized as a “Best Hospital” across two specialty categories caring for patients from all 50 states and more than 70 countries worldwide each year. Ochsner employs nearly 25,000 employees and over 4,500 employed and affiliated physicians in over 90 medical specialties and subspecialties and conducts more than 700 clinical research studies.
What are some advantages of being located/doing business in the Capital Region?
The Capital Region is growing and the need for healthcare services is growing alongside it. There are many businesses located in the area that can benefit from new and innovative approaches to improve the health outcomes for their employees. Our corporate wellness, executive health, digital medicine, O Bar and Anywhere Care options provide new and convenient ways for our community to better manage their health.

What do you anticipate for your company in the next five years? For the Capital Region?
Ochsner continues to grow our services and locations within the region. We look forward to working with other businesses to provide innovative patient-centered solutions which can help control costs and improve health outcomes.
